Leadership at Work’s roots grow deep and wide in the leadership and management (L&M) training space. Bringing contemporary adult learning principles into the belief “do what is true, not just what is new” allows us to access some of the formative and most impactful L&M methodologies available irrespective of your title, experience or capabilities.

Our flagship program ‘Leading & Managing Teams’ is delivered over 5 days. It is offered as a public course and also as an in-house program.
Regular public programs are available in Melbourne, Geelong and Ballarat. In-house programs are scheduled as required and can be delivered on-site or remotely nation-wide.
All leadership and management training is supplemented by contextualised experiential learning activities and case studies. All learning materials are provided as part of the participant’s learning experience.
Leadership and management coaching
1:1 coaching accelerates learning and skill development through individually tailored solutions and approaches. Whether looking to leverage a specific strength, or working towards improving an area of weakness, our coaches have a range of tried-and-true methods to ensure you meet (exceed your goals).
Topics might include:
- Building credibility and influence
- Emotional intelligence
- Stress management and leadership resilience
- Career advancement and planning
1:1 coaching can be delivered on-site, remotely or blended depending on the geographic location, and preferences of the individual.
All coaching programs commence with a “discovery” meeting, including the individual coachee, their direct manager and the coach. This meeting is vital to align expectations, focus areas and specific outcomes. All coaching is completed under the default of confidentiality, but we recommend that coaching participants engage in regular discussions with their manager regarding skills development.

Leading & Managing Teams program
Our Leading & Managing Teams program combines structured leadership and management training with practical assessments, action planning, manager meetings and ongoing feedback to support real workplace application. Each module focuses on a key area of team leadership, including management foundations, performance, diverse behaviours, conflict resolution and time management.
